Hi! My name’s Michelle and I’m a first-year theology student at the Atlantic School of Theology.

I’m attending this year’s Queen’s Annual Theology Conference because it’s an educational opportunity like no other. This year’s theme is “Ministry in Times of Transition,” and you will get to learn about this timely topic in many ways: there are Workshops, Panels on Multi-faith Inclusivity and Multicultural Ministry and three keynote addresses from Richard Topping. The presenters are all experts in their subject areas. Approaching the theme through these various angles really helps expand understanding and gives you creative ways to use this new knowledge in your ministry.

Of course, one of the best aspects of the event is that you get to hang out with friends new and old from all over and share the joys and challenges of ministry. It’s a very welcoming, collegial environment.

The Conference takes place in Kingston from Monday, October 15 – Wednesday, October 17. It’s very affordable. Registration even includes a gourmet dinner on the Monday evening and a lovely lunch on Tuesday! Please see the attached brochure for details and to sign up. I hope to see you there!

The 2018 Queen's Annual Theology Conference will be held from October 15th to 17th at Crossroads United Church in Kingston, ON.

The theme this year is "Ministry in Times of Transition."

We are pleased to have Richard Topping as our Theme Speaker, as well as two excellent panels (on Multi-Faith Inclusivity, and on Multicultural Ministry) and an exciting list of workshop leaders.

Please come and join us for this worthwhile reflection on ministry in these times of transition.
