Rev. Dr. Pamela Holmes was raised in Pentecostal churches and later became a Pentecostal pastor and church planter. After completing an MDiv at Queen’s Theological College she pursued a doctoral program at the Toronto School of Theology focusing on feminist critical theory and Canadian Pentecostal ministering women. She taught at Queen’s Theological College in the areas of spirituality, theology and practice of ministry. She also directed the Field Education program and coordinated the Flora Jane Baker Clergy Sabbatical Fellowship.
After prayerful discernment and preparation, Pam was ordained in the United Church of Canada in June 2019. Since 2016, she has been the minister at Rednersville Albury Community Church. Her presentation focuses on what she has learned along the way.
